Unseen Beatles photos to be auctioned
Written by admin on April 24, 2012 – 10:54 pm -Twenty unseen black-and-white photographs of The Beatles are to auctioned after lying in a family photo album since 1964.
The photographs were taken by Peter Allchorne at Pinewood Studios, where The Beatles were filming their first movie “A Hard Day’s Night” in March 1964.
The sale will also include a signed menu card from the band’s February 1965 trip aboard the BOAC Cunard, London to New York flight.
The items go up for sale at Omega Auctions in Stockport, Cheshire on 19 May, with an estimated total value of £10,000.
