Two new songs to debut on Rolling Stones’ “GRRR!”
Written by admin on September 4, 2012 – 9:39 pm -The Rolling Stones forthcoming 50th anniversary greatest hits collection, titled “GRRR!”, will include the brand new tracks “Doom and Gloom” and “One Last Shot.”
The recordings were made at a session in Paris last month and are the first new songs from the band since the completion of the “Bigger Bang” album in 2005. |
“GRRR!” will be available in five formats, including a three-CD 50-track edition and a four-CD super deluxe 80-track edition, with the latter including bonus items such as posters, postcards, and a seven-inch record.
The cover art for “GRRR!” was created by American artist Walton Ford, who has a long association with the band.
“GRRR!” will be released on November 13, two days ahead of the debut of the documentary “Crossfire Hurricane” on HBO in the US. The month will also see the Stones return to the stage with gigs at London’s O2 and Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
