
The Who appear on Stand Up To Cancer telethon
Written by admin on September 6, 2014 – 2:01 pm -The Who were among the performers on Friday night’s “Stand Up To Cancer” telethon, which was broadcast in the US.
The show featured a medley of “Baba O’Riley”/”See Me, Feel Me”/”Listening To You” which was filmed at Porchester Hall in London on September 2.
There were also musical performances from Jennifer Hudson, Lupe Fiasco & Common, Ariana Grande and the Dave Matthews Band. Jennifer Aniston, Pierce Brosnan, Jon Hamm, Ben Stiller, Halle Berry, Sophia Vergara, Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow were among the stars in attendance.

Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend founded the charity Teen Cancer America in 2012, and Daltrey is a longtime patron of the U.K. charity Teenage Cancer Trust.
