The Rolling Stones tour rumours
Written by admin on March 8, 2013 – 7:01 pm -The Rolling Stones will play 18 shows in North America this summer, according to Rolling Stone magazine.
Details are sketchy, but a source told the magazine that the tour is scheduled to kick off on May 2 and that L.A. and Seattle gigs are likely, as well as some gigs “back East”.
This news is no suprise of course, given the success of the recent 50th anniversary gigs, and the hints dropped by the band about follow-up gigs.
No details have emerged about European gigs, but it would be very surprising if the band didn’t play a number of shows, including the much rumoured headlining spot at Glastonbury.
This clip from the Newark, New Jersey show on December 15, 2012 shows that the band still has a lot to offer as a live act.

Enjoyed the Tumbling Dice clip – the Stones have always been good value live. Have to smile at ‘Keef’ as well – how is that man still standing?? He looks like death warmed up everytime I see him! 🙂
