Written by admin on June 30, 2013 – 4:34 am -The Rolling Stones’ highly anticipated appearance at Glastonbury was a triumph last night as the band entertained tens of thousands of music lovers with a hit-filled two-hour set.
The show continues the Rolling Stones’ 50 and Counting Tour, which concludes with two gigs at London’s Hyde Park on July 6 and 13.
Highlights of the Glastonbury show included “Midnight Rambler,” with Mick Taylor guesting, a crowd-pleasing “Sympathy for the Devil,” a typically atmospheric “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” and a high-energy “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” to close.
