The Eagles planning 40th anniversary tour
Written by admin on November 19, 2011 – 7:16 pm -The Eagles will be touring next year to celebrate their 40th anniversary, according to guitarist Joe Walsh.
Walsh told Rolling Stone that the band will be on the road in the second half of 2012 for four or five months. He added:
| “Everybody’s seen our show, so we have to put together something new. We’ve been archiving so much stuff from the band’s early days, concert footage and interviews and stuff. Those will be the visuals to go along with the songs. We’ll also revisit some old songs and some new stuff.” |
This will mean a busy 2012 for Walsh who is releasing a solo album in the spring and is also planning a tour with his old band, James Gang. Walsh was originally in James Gang from 1969-71 and renited with the band for a few gigs in 2006.
