The Beatles’ “Help!” out on Blu-ray now
Written by admin on June 26, 2013 – 6:49 pm -The Beatles’ second movie “Help!” debuted on Blu-ray this week. The 1965 movie, directed by Richard Lester, has been digitally restored for this release and is accompanied by an hour of bonus features.
The best thing about this rather muddled movie is the excellent soundtrack, which features “Help!,” “You’re Going To Lose That Girl,” “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away,” “Ticket To Ride,” “I Need You,” “The Night Before,” and ‘Another Girl.” You might not find yourself watching the whole movie repeatedly, but the musical segments alone do make this a worthwhile purchase.
