Temporary Hendrix shop opens in London
Written by admin on April 6, 2013 – 8:01 am -A pop-up shop dedicated to Jimi Hendrix has opened in London. The shop is located at 8 Ganton Street, just off Carnaby Street.
The temporary shop celebrates the recent release of the “People, Hell and Angels” album, which featured 12 previously unreleased performances.
Visitors will be able to buy the entire Hendrix catalogue in multiple formats, as well as limited edition merchandise, including books, clothing, art, posters, and guitar accessories. Those visiting today (April 6) will have the chance to talk to photographer Gered Mankowitz about his work with Hendrix and to purchase signed prints of his work.
Budding guitarists can have fun with Fender’s “Plug & Play” stations, which are equipped with “Jimi Hendrix Master Classes”.
The Hendrix shop is open until Friday, April 12.
For those outside London, “People, Hell & Angels” can be picked up on CD and vinyl via the links below.
