“Hendrix 70: Live At Woodstock” to receive worldwide theatrical release
Written by admin on November 12, 2012 – 10:28 pm -A special presentation of Jimi Hendrix’s legendary Woodstock concert will appear in theatres worldwide later this month in celebration of what would have been Jimi’s 70th birthday.
“Hendrix 70: Live At Woodstock” features the original 16mm footage
digitally restored together with a new 5.1 audio surround mix by legendary
engineer Eddie Kramer. Kramer originally recorded the Woodstock festival and
also served Jimi Hendrix as his recording engineer throughout his career.

Song of the Week #81 – “Volunteers”

“Volunteers” was released on single in September 1969, backed with “We Can Be Together.” It was also the title track for the band’s fifth studio album which was released two months later. |

Happy 70th Birthday Richie Havens

Havens released his first album in 1965 and remains an active live and studio performer to this day. His last album was “Nobody Left to Crown.” |
