The Clash to receive Silver Clef award
Written by admin on June 23, 2013 – 3:15 pm -The Clash will receive an award for their Outstanding Contribution to UK Music at the 38th annual Silver Clef Awards.
Previous recipients of the award have included the Paul McCartney, the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Queen, M People and Dido.
The Silver Clef Awards raise funds for the music therapy charity Nordoff-Robbins. David Munns, chairman of the charity, said:
