The American singer was a member of the female vocal group the Sweet Inspirations, who were best known for their work with Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley. Myrna is the second of the Sweet Inspirations to pass away this year. Sylvia Shemwell died on February 13, 2010. |  |

Elvis tribute show to benefit Myrna Smith
Written by admin on July 24, 2010 – 5:54 pm -| Elvis Unlimited has announced that its Back In Memphis concert in August will now be a benefit concert for Myrna Smith of the Sweet Inspirations, who has been hospitalized in California. Smith recently suffered a stroke. |
