Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2013
Written by admin on April 19, 2013 – 9:41 pm -The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted its Class of 2013 last night at a ceremony at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. The new inductees are Rush, Heart, Randy Newman, Public Enemy, Donna Summer and Albert King. Donna Summer’s induction was posthumous, following her sad death last year. Albert King passed away in 1992.

Rush, Heart and Donna Summer among Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees
Written by admin on December 11, 2012 – 10:38 pm -The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced that its 2013 inductees will be: Rush, Heart, Randy Newman, Public Enemy, Donna Summer and Albert King.
Veteran record executive, Lou Adler, and producer-arranger-composer-conductor, Quincy Jones, will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for non-performers.

“Soul Train” creator, Don Cornelius, found dead
Written by admin on February 2, 2012 – 9:29 am -Don Cornelius, the creator of long-running music show “Soul Train,” was found dead yesterday at his home in Sherman Oaks, California. The 75-year-old’s body was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to police.
