Paul McCartney promotes “Venus and Mars” reissue with free “Letting Go” download
Written by admin on October 30, 2014 – 10:29 am -Paul McCartney has offered a free download of a previously unheard version of the song “Letting Go” ahead of the deluxe reissues of “Venus and Mars” and “Wings at the Speed of Sound”.
“Letting Go” closed side one of “Venus and Mars,” which was released in May 1975, and was also released as a single several months later. The free download is an extended version of the track, without backing vocals or horns, and it does not appear on either the standard or deluxe reissues which are released on November 4.

Paul McCartney’s classic album “RAM” is the latest to receive the deluxe treatment as part of the Paul McCartney Archive Collection. This follows the recent deluxe reissues of “McCartney,” “McCartney II” and the Grammy-winning “Band On The Run”. |

Deluxe editions of “McCartney” and “McCartney II” in June
Written by admin on April 27, 2011 – 6:35 pm -Paul McCartney’s classic albums “McCartney” and “McCartney II” will be the latest to receive the deluxe treatment as part of the Paul McCartney Archive Collection.
The remastered albums will be available in multiple formats, as was the case with last year’s “Band on the Run” reissue.
