Marvin Gaye’s family awarded $7.4 million for “Blurred Lines” copyright breach
Written by admin on March 11, 2015 – 8:38 pm -Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams have been ordered to pay Marvin Gaye’s family $7.4 million for copying elements of Gaye’s 1977 song “Got to Give It Up” in their song “Blurred Lines”.
Gaye’s family will now ask the courts to prohibit sales of “Blurred Lines” until an agreement on future royalties has been established.

Lenny Kravitz pulls out of Marvin Gaye biopic
Written by admin on March 5, 2013 – 9:32 pm -Lenny Kravitz is no longer going to play Marvin Gaye in the biopic “Sexual Healing”. Deadline Hollywood reports that the role will instead be played by Jesse L Martin, who is best known for playing Detective Ed Green on NBC television’s “Law & Order”.

“I Heard It Through The Grapevine” was released on single on October 30, 1968, backed with “You’re What’s Happening (in the World Today).” It had already appeared on Gaye’s ninth solo album “In the Groove.” |

T.A.M.I. Show DVD gets UK release
