Johnny Cash – Video for new song “She Used To Love Me A Lot”
Written by admin on March 12, 2014 – 5:45 pm -Legacy Recordings has premiered the official music video for Johnny Cash’s “She Used To Love Me A Lot,” a recently discovered recording included on the upcoming album “Out Among The Stars.”
Directed by renowned filmmaker John Hillcoat (The Proposition, The Road, Lawless), the four-minute video, which was filmed over the course of a month across the U.S., aims to bring to life the emotive, haunting lyrics of “She Used To Love Me A Lot.”

Johnny Cash’s “Out Among The Stars” to feature 12 unreleased recordings
Written by admin on December 12, 2013 – 1:14 pm -Legacy Recordings will release an album of previously unheard Johnny Cash recordings in March 2014.
“Johnny Cash – Out Among the Stars” will feature 12 recently discovered songs, including two penned by Cash, and duets with June Carter Cash and Waylon Jennings. These are songs that are new to the Cash discography, not demos, outtakes or alternate versions.

Johnny Cash U.S. postage stamp out now
Written by admin on June 5, 2013 – 10:35 pm -The limited-edition Johnny Cash Forever stamp debuted today as part of the U.S. Postal Service’s Music Icon Series.
Cash’s son, John Carter Cash, says:
“It is an amazing blessing that my father Johnny Cash be honored with the issue of this stamp. Dad was a hard-working man; a man of dignity. As much as anything else, he was a proud American, always supporting his family, fans and country. I can think of no better way to pay due respect to his legacy than through the release of this stamp.”

Preview the Johnny Cash stamp
Written by admin on January 29, 2013 – 8:03 pm -The United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced that Johnny Cash will appear on a stamp later this year as part of its new Music Icons series.
The stamp has a simple but striking design by Greg Breeding, making good use of a portrait of Cash taken by Frank Bez in 1963 during a photo shoot for “Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash.”
