OBEs (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) went to co-founder of the Velvet Underground, John Cale, and to Graham Nash, who was a member of both the Hollies and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
Cale co-founded the Velvet Underground with Lou Reed in 1965 and appeared on their first two albums, “Velvet Underground and Nico” and “White Light/White Heat.” |
