Joe Strummer biopic in the works

A new biopic about The Clash’s frontman, Joe Strummer, is on the way, according to screendaily.com.

The film is provisionally titled “Joe Public” and has the backing of Film4.

Details are scarce, but screenwriter Paul Viragh is on board. His previous credits include the Ian Dury biopic “Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll.”
