Jimi Hendrix voted greatest guitarist of all time
Written by admin on November 25, 2011 – 9:20 pm -| Jimi Hendrix has topped Rolling Stone’s list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time for the second time.
The list was drawn up following the votes of an expert panel assembled by Rolling Stone. The panel included writers and journalists such as David Fricke and Peter Guralnick, and a host of top artists, including Ritchie Blackmore, James Burton, Steve Cropper, Kirk Hammett, Lenny Kravitz, Robby Krieger, Brian May, Roger McGuinn and Scotty Moore. |

Andre 3000 to play Jimi Hendrix?
Written by admin on July 7, 2011 – 7:05 pm -| OutKast’s Andre 3000 is set to take on the lead role in a biopic of Jimi Hendrix, according to English actress Hayley Atwell, who is starring in the blockbuster “Captain America” this summer.
Atwell told Esquire that her next movie role would possibly be the biopic and that it would star the OutKast rapper, whose real name is Andre Benjamin. |
