Shindig! tribute to Elvis Presley

On May 5, 1965 the American music show Shindig! devoted an entire episode to Elvis Presley, with all guests performing a cover of a popular Elvis song. The occasion was the tenth anniversary of Elvis Presley “zooming to international stardom,” although the date doesn’t really fit. |

Remembering Elvis with Priscilla Presley

Songwriter George David Weiss dies

Weiss wrote some of the best known songs of all time, recorded by some of the true greats of popular music, including Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. |
