Elvis On Tour: 75th Anniversary Celebration

Warner Bros are commemorating the 75th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death by presenting “Elvis On Tour: 75th Anniversary Celebration” in movie theatres across America tomorrow night (July 29).

The event will include a screening of the 1972 documentary “Elvis On Tour,” as well as never before seen footage and an exclusive retrospective from Priscilla Presley.

Elvis on Tour DVD and Blu-ray in August

The official Elvis website has announced that Elvis on Tour will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on August 3. There will also be a special screening of the Golden Globe-winning documentary on August 14 in Memphis, as part of the annual “Elvis Week.”

Elvis on Tour on DVD and Blu-ray

Some good news today. The Official Elvis website states that Elvis on Tour is finally getting a DVD release. There will also be a Blu-ray version.

Elvis on Tour poster The Golden Globe winning documentary features performances from Elvis’ April ’72 tour, along with rehearsals and backstage footage.
