Celebrating 50 years since The Beatles’ Cavern debut
Written by admin on February 9, 2011 – 6:00 am -| Fans of The Beatles will gather at the Cavern Club today to mark the 50th anniversary of the band’s debut performance at the venue.
The Beatles’ debut at the club was a lunchtime session on February 9, 1961. This was followed by almost three hundred performances before their final appearance at the club on August 3, 1963. |
