Yusuf / Cat Stevens returns with new R&B album and tour
Written by admin on September 19, 2014 – 1:33 pm -Yusuf (Cat Stevens) will perform his first US shows in over 35 years in December, following a number of European dates. The singer will perform classic hits and songs from his forthcoming rhythm and blues album “Tell ‘Em I’m Gone”.
The US leg of “The Peace Train … Late Again” tour begins on December 1 at Massey Hall in Toronto and concludes on December 14 at Nokia Theatre LA LIVE in Los Angeles, CA.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2014
Written by admin on April 11, 2014 – 5:51 pm -Nirvana, KISS, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Thursday. The inductees were chosen by 700 voters from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation and a public ballot.
The evening began with a speech from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Chairman Jann Wenner, who said:

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announces Class of 2014
Written by admin on December 17, 2013 – 9:02 am -The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced that its 2014 inductees will be: Nirvana, Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt. The E Street Band will receive the Award for Musical Excellence.
The two recipients of the Ahmet Ertegun Award for non-performers will be Beatles manager Brian Epstein and original Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham.

Nirvana, Kiss, Deep Purple and Cat Stevens are among the 16 nominees for the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
A panel of 600 artists, historians and music industry insiders will vote on which five will take their place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next April. You can also have your say via the “fans’ ballot“.
