Springsteen and Wonder on Haiti telethon
Written by admin on January 22, 2010 – 7:00 pm -Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Wonder will be among the performers on the bill for the two-hour “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon tonight. The event will benefit victims of the Haiti earthquake by raising funds for a number of organisations, including Oxfam America, the Red Cross, UNICEF, the UN World Food Program, Partners in Health, the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, and Yele Haiti.

Tribute to Roy Orbison
Written by admin on December 6, 2009 – 7:14 pm -Today marks the 21st anniversary of the death of one of the great pop icons, Roy Orbison. The ‘Big O’ died of a heart attack aged 52, just as he was experiencing a career resurgence.

Star-studded Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame shows
Written by admin on November 3, 2009 – 4:18 am -Two fantastic concerts took place last week at Madison Square Garden to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The first concert on Thursday 29 October ran four and a half hours and featured brilliant performances from Simon and Garfunkel, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Jackson Browne, Crosby, Stills & Nash, John Fogerty, Sting, Smokey Robinson, Jerry Lee Lewis, B.B.
