Bruce Springsteen announces US tour dates for 2014
Written by admin on February 10, 2014 – 2:40 pm -Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced 15 new tour dates in the US starting in Cincinnati, OH, on April 8.
The shows follow concerts in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Bruce Springsteen pays tribute to South American musicians
Written by admin on September 19, 2013 – 8:09 pm -The South American leg of Bruce Springsteen’s Wrecking Ball tour has featured some surprise covers of songs by South American artists who have inspired him.
“Manifiesto” – Bruce Springsteen
Springsteen opened the South American leg of his Wrecking Ball tour on September 12 with a gig in Santiago, Chile, during which he performed Victor Jara’s “Manifiesto”. Springsteen also paid tribute to Jara in Spanish, noting that the musician remains a great inspiration. Jara was a poet, singer-songwriter, and political activist who was murdered in 1973 after the socialist Chilean Government was overthrown by a military coup.

Springsteen tops Rolling Stone’s Greatest Live Act list
Written by admin on July 31, 2013 – 8:53 pm -Bruce Springsteen has been voted the Greatest Live Act working now by a panel of writers, industry figures and artists convened by Rolling Stone magazine.
To be eligible for the list, performers must have toured within the last five years and not announced their retirement.

Springsteen releases “Death To My Hometown” video
Written by admin on April 13, 2012 – 5:23 pm -Bruce Springsteen has released a music video for “Death To My Hometown,” as well as details for the second North American leg of his “Wrecking Ball” tour.
“Death To My Hometown” is the second video from the album “Wrecking Ball,” after “We Take Care Of Our Own” which was released in February. Rage Against the Machine guitarist, Tom Morello, features in the video, which includes footage from the South By Southwest Festival, New York’s Apollo Theater, and Atlanta’s Philips Arena.

Clarence Clemons’ nephew Jake Clemons to play sax on Springsteen tour
Written by admin on February 9, 2012 – 3:55 pm -Jake Clemons will take over saxophone duties from his late uncle, Clarence Clemons, on Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s forthcoming “Wrecking Ball” tour. Frequent Springsteen collaborator, Eddie Manion, will also play sax on the tour.
Jake Clemons is a songwriter, saxophonist and guitarist who released an EP titled “It’s On” last year.
