Carole King, Willie Nelson and Annie Lennox to receive honorary doctorates
Written by admin on March 20, 2013 – 7:17 pm -The Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA will bestow Honorary Doctor of Music degrees to Carole King, Willie Nelson and Annie Lennox at Boston University’s Agganis Arena on May 11. The honorees are recognised for their “achievements and influence in music, and for their enduring contributions to American and international culture”.

Songwriter Hall of Fame nominees announced
Written by admin on October 15, 2011 – 7:41 pm -Pete Townshend, Elvis Costello, Lou Reed and Dion DiMucci are among the artists who have been nominated for induction into the 2012 Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Members will have until December 12 to vote for which of the nominees are inducted into the Hall of Fame.
