Steve Winwood duets with Tom Petty
Written by admin on June 23, 2012 – 8:28 am -Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers welcomed Steve Winwood on stage during a hit-packed set at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday night.
Petty is in the middle of a European tour, which sees him playing his first UK shows for 13 years. The UK stop also included a well-received headline performance at the Isle of Wight Festival last night.
Winwood was invited on stage halfway through the Albert Hall gig to perform his 1969 Blind Faith hit “Can’t Find My Way Home” and 1966 Spencer Davis Group classic “Gimme Some Lovin'”.

Not suprisingly, Petty’s hugely infectious 1989 hit “Free Fallin'” was one of the most popular tracks of the night.
