Bruce Springsteen makes his first of three appearances on Little Steven’s Underground Garage radio show this weekend. Parts two and three of the interview will appear over the next two weekends.

The conversation between Springsteen and Van Zandt was recorded in March at the Underground Garage studios. In the first show, the lifelong friends discuss the music that inspired them when they were growing up. The second show will focus on the British Invasion and the third on music’s evolution into the rock era of the late sixties and seventies.
Little Steven’s Underground Garage is the most successful syndicated rock radio show in America, attracting 1.2 million weekly listeners.
