Simon and Garfunkel reschedule tour dates
Written by admin on April 29, 2010 – 9:23 am -Simon & Garfunkel have postponed their tour of Canada and the US because Art Garfunkel has suffered a vocal strain.

The legendary duo played the Jazz and Heritage Festival (Jazz Fest) in New Orleans on April 24 and were warmly received.
Promoters, Live Nation, said:
“In an effort to provide the highest quality performance for their audience, Paul and Art decided it would be best to move the scheduled concert dates. The dates have been rescheduled to allow for an adequate period of rest and rehabilitation, after which Art is expected to make a complete recovery.” |
The new dates have been announced as follows:

- July 8 – Winnipeg MB, MTS Centre
- July 9 – Saskatoon SK, Credit Union Centre

- July 12 – St. Paul MN, Xcel Energy Center
- July 14 – Madison WI, Kohl Center Arena
- July 17 – Auburn Hills MI, Palace of Auburn Hills
- July 19 – Toronto ON, Air Canada Centre
- July 21 – Ottawa ON, Scotiabank Place
- July 22 – Montreal QC, Bell Centre
- July 24 – Halifax NS, Halifax Metro Centre
- July 25 – Halifax NS, Halifax Metro Centre
- July 29 – Uncasville CT, Mohegan Sun Arena
- July 31 – Atlantic City NJ, Trump Taj Mahal Etess Arena.
