Rod Stewart signs new multi-album deal

Universal Music Group has signed Rod Stewart to a long-term worldwide recording agreement.
The multi-album deal will begin with a Christmas album, due for release later this year. The album, which teams Stewart with Grammy award-winning producer, songwriter and Verve Music Group Chairman David Foster, will feature Stewart’s interpretations of Christmas classics and a number of duets with other big names. |

Stewart commented:

Stewart reunites with Stevie Nicks next month for the next leg of their acclaimed Heart & Soul tour, and in September he will return to his Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
