Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2013 nominees – Have your say
Written by admin on October 4, 2012 – 9:03 pm -Music fans have been invited to participate in the selection process for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2013.
The nominees were announced today and fans can help decide who makes the final cut by placing a vote for their favourite at Rockhall.com. |
The first-time nominees are:
- Rush
- Deep Purple
- N.W.A.
- Public Enemy
- Albert King
- The Marvelettes
- Procol Harum.
They are joined by the following previously nominated acts:
- Chic
- Heart
- Donna Summer
- Kraftwerk
- Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
- Randy Newman
- Paul Butterfield Blues Band
- The Meters.
Votes must be cast by December 5 and the top five will then become part of a special “fans’ ballot” that will be counted alongside the votes of more than 600 artists, historians and industry members.
The 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees
The 28th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre on Saturday, April 18, 2013.
