Paul Simon hints at Dylan duet

Simon told Friedman that the latest album, which is being produced by Phil Ramone, is “the best work I’ve done in 20 years.” |
He also said that he is moving his solo catalogue back to Colombia Records, which has all the Simon and Garfunkel albums. At present, Warner Music Group has all his albums from 1972’s “Paul Simon.”

In July, Simon and Garfunkel will play their rescheduled gigs in Canada and the US. They were originally planned for April/May, but had to be cancelled when Art Garfunkel had problems with his voice. The duo are due to play:

Songwriting award for Simon
In advance of the tour, Simon will receive the Towering Song award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame for “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” The ceremony will take place on June 17 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. This year’s inductees are Leonard Cohen, Jackie DeShannon, David Foster, Johnny Mandel and Earth, Wind & Fire’s Maurice White, Philip Bailey, Verdine White, Larry Dunn and Al McKay.
