Paul McCartney teaming up with top producers
Written by admin on October 21, 2012 – 6:46 pm -Paul McCartney is currently working on new material with producers Ethan Johns and Mark Ronson. It’s not clear whether the collaborations are for separate projects or one album.
Ethan Johns has worked with a range of top acts, including Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, Paulo Nutini, and Tom Jones. He has told NME:
| “It’s sounding great. He’s still one of the most extraordinary recording talents. There’s a song on the record called Hosanna which is absolutely heartbreaking – just Paul and an acoustic guitar. It’s gorgeous.” |
Mark Ronson is probably best known for his fine work on Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” but his production credits are varied, so it’s difficult to pin down what a collaboration with McCartney might sound like.
McCartney’s most recent album was “Kisses On The Bottom” which was a top five hit in the UK and US earlier this year.
