Written by admin on August 27, 2015 – 2:06 pm -Legacy Recordings has released a new “Essential Van Morrison” collection and digital editions of 33 albums after acquiring the rights to Van Morrison’s solo recordings from 1971 to present. The deal also includes all of Morrison’s recordings with Them.

Watch Bruce Springsteen close Jon Stewart’s final “Daily Show”
Written by admin on August 7, 2015 – 9:22 pm -Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band brought Jon Stewart’s final episode of “The Daily Show” to an end on Thursday night with renditions of “Land of Hope and Dreams” (requested by the host) and “Born to Run”. Stewart has been host of the acclaimed satirical news show since 1999 and is a longtime admirer of Springsteen.

If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
Written by admin on August 6, 2015 – 1:28 pm -A selection of Elvis Presley’s recordings have been reconstructed with the help of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the forthcoming album “If I Can Dream: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra”.
The album includes some of Elvis’ best known hits, including “Burning Love”, “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and “Love Me Tender”, as well as some great lesser known performances, such as “There’s Always Me” and the Neil Diamond-penned “And the Grass Won’t Pay No Mind”. There are also guest appearances from Michael Buble on “Fever”, operatic group Il Vivo on “It’s Now or Never” and guitar legend Duane Eddy on “An American Trilogy” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water”.

The Faces announce reunion show
Written by admin on August 6, 2015 – 9:58 am -The three surviving members of the Faces will reunite to play a charity gig in September. Forty years on from their split, Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood and Kenney Jones will play a benefit for Prostate Cancer UK at Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Ewhurst, Surrey, on September 5th.

Cilla Black dies aged 72
Written by admin on August 2, 2015 – 2:02 pm -British singer and television star, Cilla Black, has sadly passed away aged 72. Cilla died on Saturday night at her home in Estepona, Spain while holidaying with one of her sons.
