Neil Diamond marries Katie McNeil

This is the first marriage for 42-year-old McNeil, and the third for Diamond, who turned 71 in January. |

Diamond broke the news to his Twitter followers on Sunday, saying:
| “Katie and I got married last night, we wish you all could’ve been there. It was magical! Love, Neil.” |
Diamond begins a three month North American tour in June, beginning in Fort Lauderdale, FL on June 1 and concluding in Las Vegas, NV on September 1.
