Music Memorabilia Auction – January 20

An impressive collection of music memorabilia will be auctioned at the Weiss Auction Gallery in Oceanside, NY on January 20. The auction includes around 300 lots, with artists represented including Elvis Presley, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and many more.

The auction is presented by Gary Sohmers, in conjunction with Philip Weiss Sohmers, a Pop Culture expert who has appeared on 13 seasons of the PBS show “Antiques Roadshow.”

Auction highlights include:

  • Elvis Presley autographed “Loving You” LP
  • a 1972 set of in person Jackson 5 autographs with candid photos including publishing rights
  • a scarce 1962 Beatles UK concert handbill
  • Gold Record Award to Paul McCartney for “Let It Be”
  • unused Led Zeppelin 1969 concert tickets
  • framed Woodstock concert tickets
  • Jimi Hendrix 1968 Fillmore concert poster
  • Guns & Roses 1992-93 backstage passes.

The Music Memorabilia Auction takes place on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Weiss Auction Gallery, which is located at 1 Neil Court in Oceanside, NY. Telephone and online bidding will also be welcomed.
