Motown collectors can now obtain all the label’s foreign language recordings on a 2-CD set from Hip-o Select.

With the Motown Records fan base spreading across Europe in the 1960s, the company decided that its major stars should perform foreign language versions of their hits to appeal to these markets. This new 2-CD set includes all 38 of these tracks from The Supremes, The Temptations, The Miracles, The Four Tops, Marvin Gaye, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, Edwin Starr, Jimmy Ruffin, and the Velvelettes.

The package includes a 24-page booklet featuring rare photos of Motown stars in settings around the world, reproductions of the original single sleeves, a sticker sheet, and an essay by Dr. Andrew Flory
