McCartney to marry Nancy Shevell
Written by admin on May 6, 2011 – 6:21 pm -Sir Paul McCartney and New York businesswoman, Nancy Shevell, are engaged after Paul reportedly popped the question last weekend. McCartney began dating Shevell about four years ago and the pair are commonly seen together at public events.
Shevell, 51, sits on the board of New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority. She is also the vice president for administration of New England Motor Freight.
A McCartney spokeman has confirmed the engagement, which was first reported by People magazine. No hints have been given about a possible wedding date.
This will be McCartney’s third marriage. The first was of course to Linda McCartney, which lasted from 1969 until her untimely death in 1998. The less said the better about the second marriage.
