The reunited Beach Boys and Eagles are among the acts announced for the 44th annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
Jazz Fest takes place over two weekends, from April 27-29 and from May 3-6, 2012. |
Top acts due to perform during the first weekend include the Beach Boys, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, John Mayer, Al Green, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Bon Iver, Dr. John & the Lower 911, and Yolanda Adams.
The second weekend acts include the reunited Eagles, Foo Fighters, the Neville Brothers, Zac Brown Band, Herbie Hancock and his Band, My Morning Jacket, Ne-Yo, Bunny Wailer, Bonnie Raitt, Paulina Rubio, Irma Thomas, Florence + the Machine, Levon Helm Band with special guest Mavis Staples, Steve Earle, Little Anthony & The Imperials, and Bruce Hornsby.
