Glen Campbell moves into care facility
Written by admin on April 17, 2014 – 6:35 pm -Glen Campbell has been moved into a care facility three years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, according to a family friend.
The friend told People.com:
“He was moved to an Alzheimer’s facility last week. I’m not sure what the permanent plan is for him yet. We’ll know more next week.”
Campbell’s condition was announced in 2011 ahead of the “Goodbye Tour” and the release of what was thought to be his final album “Ghost On The Canvas”. That turned out not to be the case, with a new collection of recordings titled “See You There” released last December.
A documentary about the final tour, “Glen Campbell… I’ll Be Me,” will debut at the Nashville Film Festival on Friday (Apr 18).
Best wishes to Glen Campbell.
