“George Harrison – Living in the Material World” wins two Emmys
Written by admin on September 18, 2012 – 9:07 am -Martin Scorsese’s documentary,”George Harrison: Living in the Material World,” has won Emmy Awards for Outstanding Nonfiction Special and Outstanding Directing For Nonfiction Programming.

“George Harrison: Living in the Material World” also received nominations for: Outstanding Cinematography For Nonfiction Programming, Outstanding Picture Editing For Nonfiction Programming, Outstanding Sound Editing For Nonfiction Programming (Single or Multi-Camera), and Outstanding Sound Mixing For Nonfiction Programming.
“Paul Simon’s Graceland Journey: Under African Skies” was also nominated in the Outstanding Nonfiction Special category.
George Harrison: Living In The Material World trailer
The documentary is available on DVD, Blu-ray, and as a deluxe edition that features the DVD, Blu-ray, a 96-page book and a 10-track CD of previously unreleased music titled “Early Takes – Volume 1”.
