Eric Clapton’s “Old Sock” out in March
Written by admin on January 29, 2013 – 7:38 pm -Eric Clapton has announced that his new 12-track album “Old Sock” will be released on March 12.
“Old Sock” features two new original songs, “Every Little Thing” and “Gotta Get Over,” and covers of 10 of Clapton’s favourite songs from an eclectic range of artists, including Leadbelly, Hank Snow, Taj Mahal and Gary Moore. |
Clapton is joined by a number of high profile friends on the album, including Paul McCartney (bass/vocals) on “All of Me,” Steve Winwood (Hammond B3 Organ) on “Still Got The Blues,” JJ Cale (backing vocals/guitar) on “Angel,” Chaka Khan (backing vocals) on “Gotta Get Over,” and Jim Keltner (drums) on “Our Love is Here To Stay”.
