David Crosby has rescheduled tour dates after undergoing heart surgery last Friday.

The singer underwent a cardiac catheterization and angiogram, after a routine cardiac stress test revealed the left anterior coronary artery to be 90% blocked. Two stents were placed to provide blood flow to his heart muscle and he is expected to make a full recovery.

In a statement on his website, Crosby said:

“I am very glad that I listened to my doctors and my family. It seems I am once again a very lucky man. I’m sorry to have to move the dates, but I promise the music will be good when we do play them.”

The two shows (Feb 20-21) at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco have been rescheduled for April 20 and 21, and the five shows (Feb 23, 24, 25, 27, 28) at the Troubadour in Los Angeles will also now take place in April, with exact dates to be announced shortly.

• 12 Mar – Peoria Civic Center, Peoria, IL
• 14 Mar – Murat Theatre Indianapolis, IN
• 15 Mar – Firekeepers Casino Event Center, Battle Creek, MI
• 18 Mar – Palace Theatre, Columbus, OH
• 19 Mar – Embassy Theater, Ft Wayne, IN
• 21 Mar – Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, TN
• 22 Mar – Fox Theatre, Atlanta, GA
• 24 Mar – Durham Performing Arts Center, Durham, NC.

David Crosby released the album “Croz” last month, which is his first solo studio album for 20 years.

“Croz” was generally well received and reached #36 on Billboard’s 200 album chart.
