Crosby, Stills & Nash announce benefit show
Written by admin on August 30, 2012 – 10:14 am -Crosby, Stills & Nash will perform a special charity concert on September 26 to support the Foundation for the Advancement of Midwifery, and to celebrate 30 Years of the Midwives Alliance.
The show, presented by The Guacamole Fund, kicks off at 7.30pm at the Sunset Center in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA (San Carlos at Ninth Ave., 93921).
Speaking about the show, Graham Nash said:
“It makes me immensely proud to be able to join voices with David and Stephen in support of the Midwives. Helping to bring babies safely and securely into this world has been my daughter Nile’s dream since she was seven years old. Day after day she works to bring light and life to this planet and, in her own unique, loving way, change the world.” |
Tickets for the show go on sale at 12 noon PST tomorrow (August 31). Information is available at http://www.sunsetcenter.org
“CSN 2012,” a 25-song set presenting the group’s first live performance film in more than 20 years, was released earlier this summer on Blu-ray and DVD.
