“Classic Albums” radio shows

The episodes will each be broadcast at 3am, starting this Saturday morning with Jimmy Page talking about “Led Zeppelin IV”. There’s no need to set your alarm though, as they will be repeated on BBC iPlayer. |

- Saturday, 13 November, 03:00 – Jimmy Page talks to Roger Scott about the 1971 album “Led Zeppelin IV” (first broadcast in 1990)
- Sunday, 14 November, 03:00 – Pete Townshend talks to Roger Scott about the 1971 album “Who’s Next” (first broadcast in 1990)
- Monday, 15 November, 03:00 – members of the Small Faces look back on their 1968 album “Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake”
- Tuesday, 16 November, 03:00 – Tom Petty talks about the 1979 Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ album “Damn the Torpedoes”
- Wednesday, 17 November, 03:00 – Keith Richards discusses the Rolling Stones’ classic 1969 album “Beggar’s Banquet” (first broadcast in 1990)
- Thursday, 18 November, 03:00 – David Gilmour talks to Roger Scott about “Dark Side of the Moon” (first broadcast in 1990)
- Friday, 19 November, 03:00 – Brian Wilson talks about “Pet Sounds“.
Each show runs for 60 minutes.
