Elvis Presley has again topped Joel Whitburn’s list of the Top 500 Artists of All Time. The list is included in the 14th edition of Whitburn’s “Top Pop Singles” book, which compiles Billboard chart stats in an easy-to-read format.

A great and unexpected image has emerged of John Lennon and his son Julian visiting Fonzie and co. on the set of the classic U.S. sitcom “Happy Days”.

According to May Pang, who posted the image on her Facebook profile, the picture was taken during a tour of Paramount Studios in January, 1974. Whether or not John would have known the cast is debatable, as the first episode only debuted that month.

The Beatles’ second movie “Help!” debuted on Blu-ray this week. The 1965 movie, directed by Richard Lester, has been digitally restored for this release and is accompanied by an hour of bonus features.

Apple Corps Ltd. have granted Bravado International Group the rights to offer official Beatles merchandise in North America.

Bravado is Universal Music Group’s global merchandising company, so this agreement brings the band’s North American merchandising rights and recorded music catalogue under one roof.

A guitar played by both John Lennon and George Harrison has exceeded expectations by selling for $408,000 (£269,000). The sale was held by Julien’s Auctions at the Hard Rock Café in New York’s Times Square.

The 1966 guitar was a custom prototype built by Mike Bennett, with electronics by Dick Denney of Vox guitars.
