Highlights for May include:

• the North American debut of “George Harrison – Living in a Material World” on DVD, Blu-ray and deluxe edition box (May 1)
• deluxe editions of several Small Faces classic albums (May 15-29)
• “Diana Ross – Live In Central Park” on DVD (May 15)
• Paul McCartney’s “RAM” in standard, special and deluxe editions (May 22)
• Tom Jones’ brand new “Spirit In The Room” album (May 29).

Andrew Love, who played saxophone on countless classic recordings as a member of the Memphis Horns, sadly passed away on Thursday (April 12) from complications associated with Alzheimer’s. He was 70.

Aretha Franklin celebrates her 70th birthday today, having already marked the event last night with a party at the Helmsley Park Lane Hotel in New York. The event included a sit-down dinner and mini-concert featuring jazz pianist Kris Bowers.

Franklin spent much of the night sat next to producer Clive Davis, who was instrumental in relaunching her career in the 1980s. She also noted that she would be working with Davis again:
