Whitney Houston dies aged 48

Whitney Houston has sadly died aged just 48. She was reportedly found dead in a room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel where she was due to attend a pre-Grammys party this evening. No cause of death has been given.

Houston came to prominence in the mid-1980s with the albums “Whitney Houston” (1985) and “Whitney” (1987), which produced some of the best pop songs of the decade, including “Saving All My Love for You,” “How Will I Know,” “The Greatest Love of All,” “Didn’t We Almost Have It All”, “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
