Jack Bruce – 1943-2014
Written by admin on October 25, 2014 – 7:38 pm -Jack Bruce, former bassist and singer with 1960s supergroup Cream, passed away today (Oct 25) at his home in Suffolk aged 71. He had been suffering from liver disease.

Paul Revere – 1938-2014
Written by admin on October 7, 2014 – 9:41 am -Paul Revere died on Saturday at his home in Garden Valley, Idaho. The 1960s rocker and organist with Paul Revere & The Raiders was 76 and had been battling brain cancer for over a year.

The Doors’ “Feast of Friends” to be released on DVD/Blu-ray
Written by admin on September 17, 2014 – 1:09 pm -“Feast of Friends,” a film by The Doors about their 1968 summer tour, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in November.
The film was originally shown at a few film festivals in 1968, but has remained officially unreleased since.

The box set and a 2-CD collection of highlights from the set will be released in November.

Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” voted Greatest Guitar Riff

Votes were cast by Radio 2 listeners from 14 July to 4 August, and the results were revealed throughout today’s programming on the station.
Led Zeppelin guitarist, Jimmy Page, has welcomed the number one spot:
