Tributes paid to Brian Duffy
Written by admin on June 5, 2010 – 10:41 pm -Friends and family have paid tribute to celebrated photographer, Brian Duffy, who died on Monday aged 76. He had been battling lung disease.
Duffy began working as a photographer in 1957 for British Vogue. His portraits of actors, models and musicians in the next decade helped shape the image of London in the 1960s.

Temptations singer Ali Woodson dies aged 58
Written by admin on June 2, 2010 – 11:01 pm -| Former lead singer of the Temptations, Ali “Ollie” Woodson, died on Sunday, May 30 in California from leukaemia. He was 58-years-old.
Woodson wasn’t the original lead singer of the Temptations, but he took on this role from 1984 to 1986, and from 1988 to 1996. |

David Fisher of The Highwaymen dies aged 69
Written by admin on May 14, 2010 – 1:21 pm -| David Fisher, lead tenor of the 1960s folk group The Highwaymen, died last Friday at his home in Rye, NY, aged 69.
A family friend reported that Fisher died of the rare blood disease myelofibrosis. |
