Pink Floyd’s “The Endless River” to be their final album
Written by admin on October 10, 2014 – 6:47 pm -David Gilmour has said that Pink Floyd’s forthcoming album, “The Endless River,” will be the band’s last.
Gilmour told BBC Radio 6:
This is the last thing that will be out from us. There will not be any sort of follow-up to this… It’s a shame, but this is the end.

BBC remakes “God Only Knows” with all-star cast

The “George Harrison – The Apple Years 1968-75” eight-disc box set is out now. The set features Harrison’s first six solo albums, remastered from the original analogue masters by Dhani Harrison (George’s son) and Paul Hicks. There is also a DVD featuring over 40 minutes of video material, including a new Apple Years feature.

Yusuf / Cat Stevens returns with new R&B album and tour
Written by admin on September 19, 2014 – 1:33 pm -Yusuf (Cat Stevens) will perform his first US shows in over 35 years in December, following a number of European dates. The singer will perform classic hits and songs from his forthcoming rhythm and blues album “Tell ‘Em I’m Gone”.
The US leg of “The Peace Train … Late Again” tour begins on December 1 at Massey Hall in Toronto and concludes on December 14 at Nokia Theatre LA LIVE in Los Angeles, CA.

The Doors’ “Feast of Friends” to be released on DVD/Blu-ray
Written by admin on September 17, 2014 – 1:09 pm -“Feast of Friends,” a film by The Doors about their 1968 summer tour, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in November.
The film was originally shown at a few film festivals in 1968, but has remained officially unreleased since.
